In 2017, a group of people - some with experience of homelessness - created a play at the Old Fire Station in Oxford. This film chronicles that journey, from writing workshops to the rehearsal room and opening night. Shot over a year, it follows the group, consisting of people from a vast array of backgrounds, as they come together to make and perform an entirely new piece of theatre. Set within the dreaming spires of Oxford but a world away from the elite and privileged, it tells a heartwarming story of hope and adventure.

Kazunari, a quiet and well-behaved young man, works at a printing company. On the other hand, his older brother, Takushi, is a short-tempered, typical troublemaker who was just released from jail. Yuria, a hard-working lady at a local printing factory has a young sister, Mako, who is very attractive and popular, unlike Yuria. The life of these brothers and sisters comes across suddenly, and two pairs of "cat-and-dog" siblings accelerate their fight.

All My Life's Buried Here tells the story of George Butterworth's life and music from his earliest childhood to his final hours in the violent confusion of the trenches. We follow Butterworth on his forays collecting folk songs to discover what he found when he went out into rural England and how this informed his own music. We discover why Butterworth once described himself as a 'professional morris dancer', and explore what led him to destroy so many of his own compositions before he died. Tracing his journey to its tragic conclusion we go with Butterworth into the trenches of northern France where his participation in increasingly desperate battles on The Somme ultimately cost him his life.
